The SDUT track and field team won the championship again in the 2016 Shandong College Students Track and Field Championship in Yantai recently, ranked Top 1 in the Team Score totaling 311 points with 7 gold medals, 13 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals in the Group 3 contest.
1079 athletes from more than 40 universities and colleges in Shandong Province competed in three groups, first for general college students, second for vocational colleges, and third for high-level athletes. Each group includes 44 individual events. SDUT sent a team of 16 men and 8 women to compete in the third group.
