Hold high the banner of CPC for a new chapter, and United as one to build a strong school dream. From November 19 to 20, the Third Collegiate Congress of the Communist Party of China in SDUT was held grandly.
On November 19, at 9 o'clock sharp in the morning, the Lecture Hall of Teaching Building Three has been full of the atmosphere of the solemn celebration. In the majestic national anthem, began the opening ceremony of the Third Collegiate Congress of Communist Party in SDUT. Leaders present included Mr. Qi Xiusheng, deputy secretary of the Shandong Provincial College Affairs Committee, and Mr. Gao Qingbo, the Standing member of Zibo Municipal Committee, and the director of Zibo CPC's Organization Department. Comrade Lyu Chuanyi, on behalf of the Second Committee of the Communist Party of China in SDUT, made a work report to the general assembly. Comrade Zhang Tiezhu presided over the general assembly. Mr. Xu Wenyuan, Director of College Organization and United Front Department, Shandong Provincial College Affairs Committee, attended the meeting, and 199 official representatives, 172 in attendance, and 45 invited persons attended the opening ceremony.
Comrade Lyu Chuanyi made a report to the General Assembly which was entitled as Emancipate our minds, set better orientations, deepen the reform, and accelerate the development of the construction of a high level, domestic well-known teaching and research university and struggle for it. He stressed that the Congress witnessed a new historical stage to start a new cycle of another 60 years in SDUT history, and it was an important meeting held in a critical period of deepening reform and promoting the comprehensive development of its connotation and enhancing the educational quality of SDUT. The report realistically summarized the achievements and shortcomings of SDUT since the second congress, and made an objective analysis of the situation in the development of school reform, put forward SDUT'S short-term and long-term development goals, specified the school tasks for the next five years, and planned to enhance the level of Party building and ideological and political work in a scientific system. Comrade Lyu's Report was thematically clear, overally pragmatic, and embodies the common aspirations of all Party members and most teachers and students, and would guide the school to create a new situation, to accelerate the rapid development of high quality education, to further promote the Party construction and the ideological and political work as a programmatic document.
The Discipline Inspection Committee of the SDUT's CPC submitted a written report to the general assembly.
During the two days of the general assembly, the General Assembly elected third Committee members of SDUT's CPC and the new Discipline Inspection Commission members of the SDUT's CPC. Adopted was the Resolution on the Work Report of the Second Committee of the SDUT's CPC, and the Resolution on the Work Report of the Discipline Inspection Committee of the SDUT's CPC.
After the successful completion of the agenda, the Third Congress of SDUT's CPC was completed victoriously in the grandeur of the Internationale song.
