The Education Department of Shandong Province announced the 2017 government-funded studying abroad admission list for staff in the educational institutions on January 11. All the eight teachers, including Dr. Gao Mingliang, reviewed and recommended by SDUT, were on the list, qualified as visiting scholars funded by the government to study abroad for six to twelve months.
SDUT has attached great importance to supporting the international training of teachers in recent years, actively encouraging teachers to study at high-level universities or scientific research institutions abroad by taking part in various programs, such as the government-funded program of Shandong Province, the China Scholarship Council funded programs for study abroad. Up to now, quite a few teachers have benefited from these programs to study abroad.
