On May 26, 2018, Shandong Social Science Forum - New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion and Management Innovation Seminar was held at SDUT International Academic Exchange Center.ZHOU Zhonggao, deputy party secretary and vice chairman of Shandong Provincial Social Sciences Federation,LYU Chuanyi, the party secretary of SDUT and the president of SDUT Social Sciences Federation attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting were attended over 150 experts and scholars from more than 30 universities and research institutes, including Tsinghua University and Shandong University.WANG Libin, the standing member of the party committee and vice president of SDUT, chaired the opening ceremony of the seminar.
LYU Chuanyi pointed out in his speech that SDUT attaches great importance to serving major projects in the transition of old and new kinetic energy in Shandong province, and endeavors to accelerate innovation and development, and to integrate new and old kinetic energy into the cultivation of high-quality talents and disciplines, as well as to further promote the talent training mode of “professional Plus” and “discipline Plus”to meet the need for talents in the development of new and old kinetic energy conversion; SDUT would also intensify scientific research work, actively promote scientific researches related to the top ten industries, and strive to make the scientific and technological achievements of new and old kinetic energy conversions to be effective; meanwhile, according to the integrated development principle of university and local City—— rice and millet boiled together, SDUT would continue to further promote integrated development with Zibo City and even Shandong Province and make them to be inseparable to each other, and strive to contribute to the economic and social development of Shandong Province.
ZHOU Zhonggao expressed his congratulations on the 62th anniversary of Shandong University of Science and Technology, and praised contributions achieved by the Shandong Social Science Forum in recent years in focusing on academic frontiers and serving reforms and development. The social science forum focused on the new and old kinetic energy. He gave high praise to major projects of new and old energy conversion the Social Science Forum focuses on.
In the meeting, ZHOU Zhonggao and LYU Chuanyi unveiled the nameplate for the the opening ceremony of the New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion Research Center of Shandong University of Science and Technology.
Professor GAO Chuang (Capital University of Economics and Business), Prof. WANG Nengmin (Xi'an Jiaotong University), Prof. ZHANG Yuming (Shandong University), Prof. ZHANG Wei (Jinan University) and Prof. LI Ping (SDUT) made keynote speeches respectively.
During the conference, experts organized thematic sub-forums respectively discussed in depth on “innovation and entrepreneurship”, “sharing economy” and “green development”. They put forward many innovative research results on enterprise management innovation, intellectual property protection of emerging industries, integrated development of renewable resources industry and intellectual property service industry in the background of the new and old energy conversion. And these results provide theoretical support and decision-making reference for promoting the transition of old and new kinetic energy.
