(SDUT Online News) Heads of the Party Committee (President) Office, discipline & inspection commission, the organization department of the Party committee, security division, hospital of SDUT and other departments were led by university leaders HU Xingyu, ZHANG Xiangyun and ZHANG Jinsheng to carry out on-site inspection and guidance on the key parts of the prevention and control of COVID-19 of SDUT on the afternoon of April 28th , and immediately held a meeting to make arrangements for the epidemic prevention and control of SDUT and the preparation of students returning to school.
The inspection team came to the east gate of the west campus, the overseas students' apartment, the third canteen, the construction site of No. 6 experimental teaching complex building and No. 1 experimental building successively to check the work done in the early stage of epidemic prevention and control, and to put forward specific guidance.
After the on-site inspection, the inspection report meeting of the prevention and control of COVID-19 was held in the conference room on the ninth floor of Hongyuan Building. The meeting was attended by HU Xingyu, ZHANG Xiangyun, and ZHANG Jinsheng, and members of the leading group for prevention and control (emergency response) of COVID-19 of SDUT participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the heads of student affairs office, teaching affairs office, graduate studies' office, asset management division, security division, logistic affairs' division, hospital of SDUT and other administration offices and units reported the preparation of students' returning to school in turn, and posed the existing problems and put forward specific suggestions. The leaders of all administration offices participating in the on-site inspection offered proposals on the prevention and control of COVID-19 based on the results of inspection.
ZHANG Xiangyun, member of the standing committee of the Party committee and vice president of SDUT, and ZHANG Jinsheng, secretary of the standing committee of the Party committee, secretary of the discipline & inspection commission and commissioner of supervision, combined the reports of all administration offices and units with on-site inspection, putting forward specific guidance on further prevention and control of COVID-19 and preparation for students returning to school.
HU Xingyu, deputy secretary of the Party committee of SDUT, presided over the meeting and made a summary speech. He pointed out that prevention and control of COVID-19 was the primary task of this year. According this, all administration offices and units had done a lot of work in the early stage, paid hard work and made good achievements, ensuring the safety of teachers and students and the orderly promotion of all tasks.
Focusing on the further prevention and control of the COVID-19 and the preparation of students returning to school, HU Xingyu stressed that, first, the relevant requirements of the prevention and control of COVID-19 should be strictly followed; second, the information submission and statistical analysis of teachers and students should be further done; third, the relevant work methods and standards of graduation should be adjusted; fourth, the preparation of non-graduates' returning to school should be refined and improved; fifth, the ideological and political work and management care work of teachers and students should be done; sixth, secondary problems should be strictly prevented; seventh, actual results should be taken as the criterion and key links and prominent problems should be concentrated on; eighth, preparation for the examination of school opening condition verification should be made seriously; ninth, the safety of the school should be taken as the goal, we should do our own work conscientiously and ensure the safety of the whole school and every teacher and student.
