The core part of the commemorative medal is the image of volunteer army and 70 beams of light. It is surrounded by the ribbon of peace dove, water wave and flag elements of China and North Korea. The five petal shape of Jindal flower is composed of five stars, osmanthus leaves and arrows symbolizing the five battles. It symbolizes the 70th anniversary of the CPVA's War of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea, implying that the great war of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea is a just war to defend peace and against aggression, and the great spirit of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea will always be the precious wealth of the Chinese people, demonstrating China's firm determination and confidence in defying powerful enemies, maintaining world peace and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
The commemorative medal of 70th anniversary of the CPVA's war of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea is issued to the surviving veterans and comrades of the volunteer army who participated in the war of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea;the surviving medical, railway and transportation personnel,as well as translators who went abroad to serve in the war of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea;the personnel participating in armistice negotiations;the militia,migratory workers, journalists, writers, photographers,etc.;and those who is still living and helped to resume production and construction in North Korea during the period from July 1953 armistice to October 1958 when all the volunteers withdrew from North Korea.Those who died after January 1st, 2020 are also within the scope of this reward.
