On the morning of September 9th, the signing ceremony of Deepening School-City Integration and Enabling Future Development between the SDUT and Zhangdian District was held in the conference hall on the first floor of the VIP Building of Qisheng International Hotel to jointly produce to an upgraded version of school-city integration development, promote win-win career development and draw a beautiful blueprint. Therefore, the integrated development of SDUT and Zhangdian District reached a new level.

Heads of relevant departments of Zibo City, Zhangdian District and SDUT, enterprise representatives of Zhangdian District participated in the ceremony.
After the participants collectively watched the publicity film of investment attraction of Zhangdian District, GUO Qing delivered a speech. He said that the signing was of great significance to promote the transformation and development of Zhangdian, marking a new step in the school-city integration of Zhangdian and Shandong University of Technology, further cooperation and deeper integration, and opening a new chapter in the high-quality development of school and city in the new era. He said that promoting the integrated development of school and city was an important measure to realize the complementary advantages and win-win development of both sides. Zhangdian District would deeply integrate into the university development planning and process, strive to help SDUT build a high-level teaching and research university with distinctive characteristics, and jointly produce to a better future.
SUN Hongye, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Zhangdian District, introduced the school-city integrated development agreement.
In a warm atmosphere, HU Xingyu and SUN Hongye signed the Agreement on Further Promoting in-Depth Development of School-City Integration on behalf of both sides. According to the agreement, within the five-year validity period, the two sides would focus on jointly building the “entrepreneurship and innovation belt around SDUT”, deepen the innovative school-city integrated development model, jointly build the “four Platforms” such as science and technology R&D headquarters center, SDUT Science Park, “Alumni Economy” Incubation Park and Empowering Zhangdian Development Think Tank, and creat the “Four Highlands” such as the highland for the gathering of science and innovation talents, the highland for youth employment and entrepreneurship, the highland for basic education, and the highland for cultural development, accelerate the integration of regional entrepreneurship and innovation, and promote the new situation of deeper and wider integration development.
SU Shoubo and JIANG Guijun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Zhangdian District, Minister of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of Zhangdian District and Secretary of the Education Working Committee of the Party Committee of Zhangdian District, signed the Framework Agreement on Co-Construction of SDUT’s Science and Technology Park on behalf of both sides. ZHANG Cunshan, Director of Science& Technology Division of SDUT, PAN Qing, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee, Director of the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of the Government of Zhangdian District, Secretary of the Party Group of the Construction and Development Service Center of Zibo New District, and XU Bingyin, Chairman of Kehui Power Automation Co., Ltd, signed respectively the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Jointly Building the Electricity Storage Technology Research Institute on behalf of the three parties.
LYU Chuanyi made a speech. He said that the signing was an upgraded version of the school-city integrated development launched by SDUT and Zhangdian District. It was a major event for both sides to promote career development and win-win results.
LYU Chuanyi expressed that one point relied on deployment while nine points depended on implementation. The development of school-city integration was a systematic project and a long-term project. It was necessary to strengthen overall planning and to pay close attention to detail. While accelerating the promotion of high-quality connotative development, SDUT would continue to strengthen the awareness of actively serving the local, continue to increase the intensity, breadth and depth of services, and effectively play the role of the “source of innovation”, “source of vitality” and “source of industry” as a university . It was believed that by implementing the agreement on in-depth development of school-city integration and comprehensively deepening the industry-university-research cooperation between school and the local,as well as between school and enterprises, it would be conducive to enhancing the local innovation and development ability, promoting the transformation of old and new kinetic energy in Zhangdian District, creating a new situation of economic and social development, and SDUT would also achieve high-quality development in providing comprehensive services to Zhangdian and Zibo.
After the ceremony, LYU Chuanyi accepted an interview by the reporter of Zhangdian District Convergence Media Center. He expounded the significance of the signing, and introduced the changes and achievements brought to both sides by the integrated development with Zhangdian District in recent years.
