According to the requirements of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, the Fourth Party Congress of SDUT was scheduled to be held in September 2022 after the study of the plenary session of the Party Committee of SDUT and the consent of the Zibo Municipal Committee of the CPC.
The main agenda of the congress is to listen to and review the work report of the third CPC Committee of SDUT; to review the work report of the third Discipline Inspection Committee; to elect the fourth CPC Committee of SDUT; to elect the fourth Discipline Inspection Committee.
The number of delegates to this congress is 200, which the Party Committee of SDUT determines according to the number of Party branches, the number of Party members, the teaching and scientific research situation and the work needs of each election unit (the grass-roots Party committee, the general Party branch and the directly affiliated Party branch). Each election unit will hold a general meeting of all Party members or a meeting of Party representatives according to the election method and the difference ratio proposed by the Party Committee of SDUT.
SDUT set up a leading group for the preparatory work of the Fourth Party Congress, with HU Xingyu, secretary of the Party Committee of SDUT, as the group leader, DENG Changliang and YANG Yun, deputy secretaries of the Party Committee of SDUT, NIE Faliang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and supervisor of SDUT, as the deputy group leaders, and SU Shoubo, GUO Qingbing, CHEN Shengwei, CUI Huanyong, CONG Hailin and CHEN Jing as members. The leading group consists of four working groups: the secretary group, the organization group, the propaganda group and the conference affairs group, responsible for the preparations for the Party Congress.
The Party Committee of SDUT called on the Party organizations at all levels and all Party members to be guided by Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and the previous plenary sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee as well as the 12th Shandong Provincial Party Congress, adhere to and strengthen the overall leadership of the Party, closely focus on the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people, reform and innovate, pursue excellence, excel in the new era, concentrate on writing a new chapter, and strive to create a high-level teaching and research university with distinctive characteristics. The Party organizations at all levels and all CPC members of SDUT should unite and lead the teachers, students and staff to unify their thinking, inspire their spirit, work with one heart and one mind, forge ahead, strive to do an excellent job in all aspects, and greet the Fourth Party Congress with outstanding results.
