In accordance with the arrangement of the Organization Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, SDUT held a meeting of cadres above the middle level in the Art Center Auditorium in the afternoon of August 2nd to announce the decision of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee on the adjustment of SDUT’s leadership. GONG Wendong, vice minister of the Organization Department of Shandong Provincial Party Committee, attended and spoke. FENG Jikang, deputy secretary of the Education Work Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, deputy secretary and deputy director of the Party Group of the Shandong Provincial Education Department, read out the decision. Relevant comrades of the Fifth Cadre Office of the Organization Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and the College Cadre Office of the Shandong Provincial Department of Education (Education Working Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee) were present at the meeting. The meeting was presided over by HU Xingyu, secretary of the Party Committee of SDUT.

The Shandong Provincial Party Committee decided that Comrade HU Xingyu was appointed the secretary of the Party Committee of SDUT, and Comrade LI Yuxia was appointed the president of SDUT. Comrade LYU Chuanyi was a no longer secretary, member, and member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of SDUT.
LYU Chuanyi expressed firm support and complete obedience to the decision of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee. He said that in the future, he would continue to love and honor SDUT as always, do his best to care for and support its development, and sincerely wish the future of SDUT to be even better.
LI Yuxia expressed her firm support for the decision of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and sincerely thanked it for its training, education and trust over the years. She said that in her future work, she would work hard, be persistent, and perform her duties faithfully. She would strive to do the following: first, she should take a clear-cut political stand, adhere to the political character of absolute loyalty, and fully implement the Party’s education policy. Second, she would deepen her study and practice to strengthen her ability. She would persist in making efforts to “believe steadfastly,” “know deeply” and “act realistically,” learn from everyone with an open mind, and constantly enhance her ability to run and manage schools. Third, she would focus on development, work with the team members with one heart and one mind, closely cooperate, and constantly enhance the core competitiveness of SDUT. Fourth, she would be strict with herself, abide by the bottom line, take the lead in setting an example and strive to create a working environment characterized by clean conduct, solidarity and mutual assistance, and courageous competition.
When presiding over the meeting, HU Xingyu said that he fully supported the decision of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, resolutely obeyed its arrangements, and sincerely thanked the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Government for their care, concern and guidance for the development and the construction of the leadership of SDUT. He said that SDUT was currently in a critical period of fighting for the 14th Five-Year Plan and building a high-level university. Taking over the heavy burden of the secretary of SDUT, he felt that the mission was glorious and the responsibility was heavy. In future work, he would redouble his effort, fulfill his duty, keep upright and innovate, forge ahead, and never fail to live up to the trust and expectations of CPC and all teachers, students, and staff. The first is to strengthen the direction of learning and strive to transform the learning effect into a vivid practice that promotes the development of the SDUT’s career. The second is to strictly manage the Party and grasp the main responsibility and lead the high-quality development with high-quality Party building. The third is to concentrate efforts to promote development and accelerate the pace of building a high-level teaching and research-oriented university. The fourth is to set an example of honesty and integrity, and be loyal, clean and responsible.
At the meeting, the decision on the appointment and removal of other leadership members was announced. The Shandong Provincial Party Committee decided that Comrade YANG Yun would be appointed as the member, Standing Committee member and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of SDUT; Comrade NIE Faliang served as the member, Standing Committee member, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and supervisor of the Party Committee of SDUT; Comrades GUO Qingbing, CHEN Shengwei, CUI Huanyong and CONG Hailin were appointed as members and Standing Committee members of the Party Committee of SDUT and vice presidents of SDUT; CHEN Jing was appointed as vice president of SDUT. WANG Libin and YI Weiming would no longer serve as vice presidents of SDUT; ZHANG Jinsheng would no longer serve as the secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and supervisor of SDUT.
